The band “Jooles & The Hidden Tracks” was founded by Jooles in early 2019. Jooles had already amassed an impressive musical history with the regionally successful
band “The Tideline.” However, her life was turned upside down by a life-threatening accident that resulted in a serious hand injury.

During her healing process, Jooles found new inspiration and decided to form a new band. The concept was to create a rock band with a saxophone. All band members were experienced musicians who had played in other formations. The close friendship among the members was an essential part of the band, and they all shared a passion for music.

Jooles was already well-known in her hometown Aachen due to her musical background, and so “Jooles & The Hidden Tracks” quickly began to conquer local stages.

The band was forced to face new challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They started hosting streaming concerts, and Jooles performed solo and in smaller formations with individual band members. Through a crowdfunding project, the band was able to record their debut studio album „Metronome“, which was released in 2022 by the label “Timezone Records” in Osnabrück. This was followed by more live videos and music video productions as the band built their social media presence and website.

Jooles writes all the songs on her guitar and has already achieved impressive success with her songwriting. These achievements led to tours in Germany, Austria, and England, as well as awards at the German Rock and Pop Awards, including the award for the best rock album.

Life experiences, especially the personal setbacks and challenges that Jooles had to overcome, intensified her lyrics and songwriting. New songs were born with a depth and intensity that had not been reached before. Jooles continues to write, and the Hidden Tracks contribute to develope collaborative arrangements.

The band’s early performances already included the largest stages as part of the Karlspreisverleihung and the September Special in Aachen. The strength of the band lies in its versatility and adaptability. They can play everything from solo performances to smaller formations to the full band formation, catering to the audience’s desires. From solo and acoustic performances to the original lineup of seven members or an extended formation with a three-piece brass section, “Jooles & The Hidden Tracks” flexibly adjust to the demands and preferences of their audience. This flexibility allows the band to offer a wide range of musical experiences and ensure that every listener enjoys an unforgettable concert.

The band has a diverse fan community that includes people of all ages and musical preferences. This unique connection between fans and the band is a result of Jooles inviting and inspiring people to be themselves in a special way. At their concerts, everyone feels welcome, seen, and safe. An atmosphere is created in which the music touches the hearts of the audience, bringing them together in a moment of unity.
